Troubleshooting Device Binding Issues with mBank Plus ( All In One App )

Please try out the following if you are facing issues related to Device Binding ( a new feature added for additional security ) in the latest version of mBank Plus App.

CASE 1

Outgoing SMS should work

The mBank Plus app sends an SMS from your phone to authenticate you and re-register . Please ensure that you have what is necessary for outgoing SMS to work ( sufficient balance, working SMS plan etc ) In case of Dual SIM phones, please ensure that you choose the correct SIM Slot that is associated with your mobile number registered with the bank.

CASE 2

Deny Location ( GPS ) permission

The mBank Plus app attempts to retrieve your current location, for additional security. However, some phone models retrieve junk location data. To circumvent this, please try denying location permission while registering.

Use Net Banking Credentials
