As per the notifications of Government of India and Reserve Bank of India, effective 1st September 2015, every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month will be observed as bank holidays. All other Saturdays of the month will operate as full working days.
Hence the payment systems such as RTGS, NEFT, cheque clearing and Demat services will not be available during the holidays on every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. All requests made after the cut-off time through cheque drop box clearance and scheduled NEFT remittance on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month will be processed on the next working day.
To serve our customers better, we are extending 7-days banking service at our selected branches. These branches will continue to serve our customers all the 7 days in a week. One more set of selected branches will be functioning for 6 days a week including all Saturdays for your convenience. Remaining branches will have Sundays and 2nd and 4th Saturdays as holidays. Hence you are requested to contact your Parent Branch where you are having account to know the working days of the branch.
We will continue to extend our Banking services through our Electronic Alternate Banking channels such as ATMs, Bulk Note Acceptors, Net Banking, Mobile Banking and IMPS service on 24*7 basis.
Please make note of the above mentioned changes and plan your banking transactions accordingly.
