1.1 Where debit card has been issued to an account holder
Minimum monthly average balance of Rs.7500 per month to be maintained. Whenever the monthly average balance falls below the required level the revised charges will be LEVIED as below :

The following accounts are exempted from maintenance charge and transactions through Net Banking and Mobile Banking and CUB ATMs are free. However, Financial or non-financial transactions DONE by below mentioned SB account holders from other bank ATMs will be free upto 5 transactions per month. Thereafter the charges will be Rs.20 per transaction.

6. Cash transactions in savings accounts
Where cash remitted in a month exceeds Rs 1 lac in an account but less than Rs 10 lacs, charges at Rs. 3.00 per Rs 1000 will be collected for such excess amount remitted. If it exceeds Rs 10 lacs per month, charges at Rs. 5.00 per Rs 1000 will be collected.
7. Cash handling charges- late receipts
Additional 25% charge to what is applicable will be levied if cash is remitted after 3.30 pm. at the branch and on BNA. The cut off time of 3.30 pm will be suitably modified in respect of branches which open before 10 am or later than 10 am. Same additional 25% charge will be applicable for Cash Deposits made through the branches open on holidays like the second and fourth Saturdays to provide basic banking facilities primarily to retail customers.
8. Cash handling charges for small denomination notes and coins

In case of deposit of small denomination notes viz., Rs. 50/20/10/5 etc, an additional amount per bundle as above will be recovered where such bundles are more than one. Part of a bundle will be treated as one for charging purpose. This also applies to all types of accounts i.e SB, CA and CCOD accounts. Branches are permitted to deduct the above charges then and there.
Where coins are tendered in bulk, charges will be recovered at Rs. 10 per Rs 100 in SB, CA and CCOD accounts if more than Rs. 100 is tendered on any working day in an account.
The charges will be collected with applicable GST.
9. Locker rent
Locker rent is based on location of a branch where locker facility is availed. Branches are categorised into the following five categories

From new locker hirers locker rent will be recovered upto March end. Subsequently, locker hirers need to pay the annual rent within 3 months after the beginning of the financial year (i.e before June end). In case of delay there will be late payment penalty at 10% per quarter (or part thereof). For example rent remitted in November will attract 2 quarter penalty of 20%.
10. Cheque book issue charges
Where the on-line or ATM channel is used for ordering a cheque book, the following charges will apply. If the request is given in a branch, handling charges of Rs 30 will be levied to improve the electronic mode apart from the following.

Commitment charges - Will be charged on the unutilized part. 23. Charges for non-compliance with regulatory requirements and other similar requirements
The Bank is taking lot of efforts in ensuring compliance with regulatory and similar other requirements. Some customers show little importance to such requirements and the Bank’s follow up efforts take unnecessary time and effort. To bring some sort of discipline, and also to part recover expenditure in follow up, charges will be recovered as indicated below. This is apart from other punitive efforts the Bank and/or regulator may prescribe.

27. GST issues in Current and Savings (CASA) accounts
Tax authorities have made a claim on the Bank stating that monthly minimum balance charges collected by the Bank are to compensate the Bank towards banking services rendered in these accounts where the average balance falls below threshold level(s). The tax authorities contend that these services have been rendered free to customers who maintain balance above these threshold level(s). On this premise they have raised a claim on the Bank on GST payable by the Bank on such free services in all the accounts where the balance is above the threshold level(s). The Bank has appealed against the claim. In case the Bank is required to pay the claimed amount of GST, GST on proportionate basis will be recovered from all CASA accounts where no minimum balance charges have been levied. Per account GST will depend on likely outcome of the tax litigation.
Any modification in tax laws including GST will be to the account of the customer.
