10. What are all the documents required for opening a Partnership Firm?

The following documents are required:

• Registration Certificate
• Partnership Deed
• Power of Attorney granted to a Partner or an employee of the firm to transact Business on its behalf
• any officially valid document (detailed in Q.No.7 & 8) on identity and address of the Partners and the persons holding the Power of Attorney
• Proof of existence and Proof of address of the Firm

11. What are all the documents required for opening an account for a Limited Company?

The following documents are required

• Certificate of incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association
• Certificate of commencement of business in case of Public Limited Company
• Resolution of the Board of Directors to open account, identification and address proof of those who have authority to operate the account (as detailed in Q.No.7 &8)
• Power of Attorney granted to its Managers / Officers and employees to transact Business on its behalf
• Copy of PAN allotment Letter
• Copy of the telephone Bill

12. What are all the documents required for opening account for Trust and Foundations?

• Certificate of registration
• Power of Attorney granted to transact Business on its behalf
• any officially valid document to identify the Trustees , Settlers , Beneficiaries and those holding Power of Attorney, Founders/ Managers / Directors and their addresses (as detailed in Q.No.7 & 8)
• Resolution of the Managing Body of the Foundation / Association

13. When does KYC apply?

KYC Norms are applicable for all types of accounts opened in the Books of the Bank and whoever is involved in the account as a beneficial owner, joint holders, mandate holders, Power of Attorney, Persons with Legal claim or capacity to access accounts.

14. What is “No Frill Account”?

An account opened for an individual who is not able to produce documents proving his identity / address. This account is designed preferably for persons in rural areas and for opening accounts with rural branches.
